![]() ![]() □ The food was great at all restaurants inside the hotel (Timbers Tacos was much better than I expected!) except for Campfire Kitchen which cost $27 (gasp!) for a one-trip only buffet for me and my six-year-old. ❤️ Our room was simple, but very clean and nice. Our issues were immediately resolved much to my relief and satisfaction. □ Each and every staff member I spoke to was calm, understanding and very helpful. In addition, his second wand stopped working. If you have a child with special needs, this is THE place to be! By day three, my child had misplaced his MagiQuest wand, three PawPoints cards, and ripped off his water park bracelet. The kids however, had a great time so at least I have that for my $400 a night standard room. I was mildly annoyed all weekend and am not sure I would return. Not exactly what I need my kids to see or hear (obscene language). Also there was a physical altercation at 9am this morning between a hotel worker and a guest. The check in line on Sunday at 1pm was worse than Saturday! Also, there is Dunkin Donuts on site. Most of the staff here is friendly which helps. In the end they discounted her rate and put her in a room, not the room type she booked. Got a call at 4:08 that there was a problem with her room. My friend waited in line for almost an hour. Just make sure you grab a $10 Bloody Mary at the bar before you get in line. Went in hopes that this place has changed since Key Lime Cove, which was disgusting. A woman also asked if the coffee machine was for k-cups, he said it was but they didn't have any - though it'd work if she brought her own! Rooms a little small but I doubt people spend a lot of time in their rooms! There were mustard and salad dressing packets on the shelves, and the guy said they've never had them in there so didn't know why they were there, either. Ben & Jerry's was out of bananas for a smoothie, Duncan Donut was out of eggs and coffee/cinnamon rolls (by 9 am), and the Market place that was supposed to have premade sandwiches and salads didn't have any - NOTHING you could buy to eat after 10 pm. Tons of fun stuff for kids (especially younger kids - not so much teens) to keep verrrrry busy! Clean and friendly staff! Brinley at check-in was WONDERFUL! Activities and building new and great shape and looks wonderful! Super handy that they could put keycard function and connect to credit card (only if you choose) to the water park bracelets so no need to keep track of money or cards! Ropes course was REALLY fun! Italian restaurant on-site's food was delicious! Negatives: don't check in 4-5:00 - CRAZY and lonnnnng line! Website and phone call says water park closes at 8 pm and opens at 10 am, but closes at 9 pm and opens at 9 am - staff knew about this and were apologetic but we'd left Six Flags an hour earlier so had more waterpark time. ![]()
